Take Interstate 515/Hwy 95/93 south through Las Vegas to Henderson. Take the Lake Mead Parkway exit, east (Lake Mead Parkway is the continuation of the Interstate 215 beltway across Hwy 95). Lake Mead Parkway will take you into the Lake Mead Recreation Area.
Take the first left turn you come to after passing through the entrance gate. This is hwy 167, and the sign indicates Echo Bay and Overton.
From this left turn, it is 27 miles to the Redstone site. There are convenient mile markers. The Picnic Area is marked with a sign.
Hwy 147 is a left turn (to North Las Vegas) about 3 miles from where you turned left onto hwy 167. If you live in North Las Vegas this road may be a shorter trip for you.
